skoda octavia was discontinued for few years, and reintroduced with refreshing features and improved performance. Skoda is all set to launch a facelift version of Octavia with refreshing design and impressive interior features. The exteriors will have new split-styled headlights with daytime running lights at the bottom and a new radiator grill with chrome surrounds.
The Skoda Octavia Facelift interiors will have a new dual-tone dashboard with new multi-information instrument cluster and a center console with new infotainment system with 9.2” touchscreen. The interiors aesthetics will be highlighted with new trims, fine finishing roofline and floor mats, and utility features of spacious air-cooled glove box, automatic air conditioning, and bottle and cup holders for both front and rear seat occupants. The driver and co-passenger seats will be provided with better cushioning and lumbar support. The top variants will have leather upholstery for the seats, steering wheel and gear lever cover.
Inside, the cabin of the facelifted Octavia remains identical to the current outgoing model, but with subtle changes, like the new dual tone light beige and black interiors, and a new three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel.
The Skoda Octavia Facelift specifications would be available in two petrol engine versions and two diesel engine versions. The Skoda Petrol will have a 1,395 cc engine 4-cylinder engine with power of 150 PS at 4500 to 6000 rpm, torque of 250 Nm at 1500-3600 rpm, and the 1.8 L version will have a 1798 cc engine with power of 180 PS at 5100-6100 rpm and torque of 250 Nm at 1250-5000 rpm. The diesel version would be available with a 1968 cc 4-cylinder engine delivering power of 143 PS at 4000 rpm, and torque of 320 Nm at 1750-3000 rpm. The transmission system will have options of 6-speed manual transmission and 6-speed automatic transmission versions.

The Skoda Octavia Facelift performance factors would be taken to the next level with the refinement of engine and driveline. The advanced technology performance features of electronic stability control system, and the anti-slip regulation with motor speed regulation system for safe handling at high speeds and irregular road conditions would be introduced. the new Octavia expected to come in three variants – one diesel and two petrol variants. The diesel variant will be powered by a 2.0L TDI engine which churns out 145Ps of power and a peak torque of 320Nm, and comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual clutch auto option.
While the petrol variant come with two engine options – 1.4L TSI turbo petrol producing 149Ps of power and paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox, and a 1.8L TSI petrol engine that churns out 180Ps of power, comes paired to a w7-speed DSG transmission.
As far as safety is concerned, the top-end variant gets 8 airbags while the base trim gets 4 airbags. ABS with EBD and traction control come as standard with all variants.
